Announcement

We officially announce the last major LS One release. From now on, we will not be developing new features for LS One and will focus on support and maintenance. 

Here is an overview of the functionality that we have introduced. 

Easy integrations with the LS One API 
The LS One API allows you to integrate LS One to other systems, such as ERP or ecommerce platforms. It is a RESTful API that allows external management of master data, such as items, customers prices and discounts.  

You can also  

• do basket calculation for a list of items. The system calculates the basket considering all customer-specific pricing and discounts.  
• create customer orders. For eCommerce integrations, the webstore order is sent into LS One as a customer order. It can then be managed and picked up at the LS One POS. 

Tip management 
Add tips or gratuity to an LS One transaction using the income accounts. A new type of income and expense accounts enables you to do the reporting of the tips cash flow into and out of the POS. 

The tip management functionality also includes settings so you can automatically ask to add a suggested tip amount to the ongoing transaction when it is being finalized. You can also add tip suggestions to the pre-receipt that can be printed in the LS One hospitality POS. 

Coupons and discounts
Coupon functionality, first included in LS One 2021.1 SP2, is now formally released. Discount offers, multibuy discounts and mix and match offers can be triggered on a transaction by scanning a coupon or entering a discount code.
