It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of LS One 2020.
Despite this past year’s global challenges, we managed to stick to our schedule. We are confident that the new LS One will put you in a position to sell more licenses than ever before.
A brand new user interface (UI)
We have spent most of the last six months designing and implementing a fresh new look for the POS, and we think that the new UI will just blow you away. After the last conneXion conference, we promised our partners and customers that usability and quality would be at the forefront for LS One. We have received extremely positive feedback regarding the new UI, and we have no doubt it will make LS One much more attractive to prospects, and easier to sell for you. This is just step one - expect more improvements in upcoming releases.
New mobile POS
The new mobile POS (and Omni server) has been drastically improved in regards to performance, usability, and support for EOD procedures.
LS One Suite
LS One suits different sizes of businesses, from small “mom-and-pop” stores to enterprise customers with 1000+ POS deployments. The smaller installations are important, as they keep the cash flow going while we work on the larger enterprise opportunities. To create a better value proposition for the “mom-and-pop” stores, we have created the LS One Suite, a package that comprises the LS One POS, site manager, mobile POS and mobile inventory. When customers buy the LS One Suite, they get all the functionality they need to run their business at a discounted price. Please refer to our pricelist for more details.
Improved integration to SAP Business One
We continue to improve our integration to SAP Business One for both SQL and SAP HANA. We have been working closely with a growing number of customers to ensure that we meet all their integration needs. We have seen more and more customers within SAP Business One moving from competitors’ retail solutions to LS One. Some of the new integrations have been requested by customers, others by partners who asked us to merge their customizations to stay on the main developing branch. Once we receive the customizations, we test them, improve them, and then merge into the standard LS One product.
Fixes and enhancements
We have also been working on many more improvements and fixes for both the POS and site manager. You can read all the details in the release notes.
As always, the LS One team has done a fantastic job on this release, and we are eager to hear our partners’ and customers’ feedback as they adopt the new features.
